| PAPER PROCESSING CHEMICALS
| |
Pulp and paper industries are undergoing
phenomenal expansion to meet the growing market demand. Many pulp and paper
industries adopt novel process methods to improve the final product to stay
ahead of their fellow players.
| |
Chemicals used in every stage of the pulp and paper
industry play a predominant role in making good and consistent quality paper.

| |
DIGESTOR
ADDITIVES: |
A specially formulated product to improve the penetration
of alkali into the cell wall of wood fibres in digesters. While doing so, it
improves the cooking efficiency and reduces the consumption of alkali used in
the cooking process. This product is biodegradable and non hazardous in nature. |
| |
WASH AID: |
| |
A dual functional silicone base liquid product meant to
use in the brown stock washing of the pulp mill. This product provides
better washing and cleaning of the pulp fed through counter current washers.
Less alkali loss and less consumption of water for washing are the benefits
derived from this product. |
| |
DYE-FIXING
AGENT: |
As the name precisely indicates this product controls the
consumption of the dye being used in the dyeing process. Excessive usage of dye
result in shade difference and loss of dye. The dye fixing agent allows only
the limited quantity of dye at optimum level thereby eliminates the wastage. |
PEROXIDE
STABILIZER: |
Peroxide used in the bleaching process tends to decompose
quickly. Therefore it's consumption goes up beyond the desirable dose to the
pulp. To prevent the decomposition and to optimize the dose of peroxide, the
stabilizer for peroxide is recommended. |
SLIMICIDES: |
During the pulp process, due to the environmental
conditions the pulp is prone to slime growth. The presence of slime effects
breakage of paper at the dry end. Slimicide effectively kills the responsible
bacteria completely and ensure no breakage in paper. |
DE-INKING
CHEMICALS: |
In a waste paper recycling process, it is necessary to
remove the inks in the de-inking cell for further processing. Different type of
non-ionic polymers are recommended after lab scale evaluation for de-inking
performance |
| |
FELT CLEANING
CHEMICALS: |
This enables the stickies and deposits get removed from
the felt which otherwise affects the drainage of wet pulp.
PITCH
DISPERSANT: |
White and dark pitches are commonly found in pulp
processing sequence. It affects the quality of pulp and paper to a greater
extent. Pitch dispersant disperses all grades of pitch instantaneously and
avoid rejects and downtime.
FLUFF
CONTROLLER:
It fixes the fines which are otherwise cause fluff in the
drier end. Printability is affected by the fluff in paper. The suitable fines
fixing agent ensures fluff free operation. |

DRY STRENGTH ENHANCER :
This is a well refined water Soluable. Polymerized Powder grade product, specifically designed to have cellulose fiber linkage. This Enhances Strength Property (burst factor improvement). This can be used in Kraft and white varieties of paper. |
